Jericoacoara is really small, it is almost impossible to get lost. After about 2 days you will be settled in the village will be very pleasant to wander through the narrow streets of sand, peek through the Brazilian handicraft shops.
The Google map shows the beach of Jericoacoara photographed by satellite::
In 1984 the region was transformed into Environmental Protection Area (APA), preserving an area of 200 square kilometers. From 2002 the IBAMA together with State Government of Ceara and Jijoca Jericoacoara decided to designate this area as National Park thus achieving the maximum status in terms of protection environment.
