Jericoacoara Brazil - Map
The beach of Jericoacoara is not very large, has only 5 main streets that lead to the same beach and around a dozen cross streets.

In 1984 the region was transformed into Environmental Protection Area, preserving an area of 200
square kilometers. From 2002 the IBAMA together with
State Government of Ceara and Jijoca Jericoacoara
decided to designate this area as National Park thus achieving the maximum status in terms of protection
environment.
